The Children Program
Ruth Drop-in Centre started with satellite stations in Rensburg and Extension 23 the satellite stations is within walking distains from schools in the community.
The Program consist of the following:
- Daily meal
- Homework assistance
- Holiday programs
- Life skills programs
- Hygiene support
- Home care
- Counselling groups
The Parents Program
The Parent program play an important part of the program, we need to uplift and educate parents to take care of their children and re-instate healthy family relationships.
The Program consist of the following:
- Daily meal
- Job creation
- Skill development
- Parenting skills
- Rehabilitation program
- Counselling
- Mental health support
- Sustainability program
The Recycling Program
Recycling plays a huge roll in program:
- We help to clean our community and planet
- We generate an income
- We create jobs
The Gardening Program
Genesis 1:29: So, God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of the entire earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you;”
The Vegetable Garden play a huge roll in our sustainability program. We will be able to produce our own vegetables for our kitchen.
We will develop the skill of gardening so that our beneficiaries will be self-sustainable.
The children will have their own vegetable garden and develop the skill from a young age.
The vegetable garden has so much health benefits our children will eat and be healthier.
